The Inspiration
Kenton Cool is one of the world’s leading high-altitude climbers and avid adventurers. He is best known for his multiple ascents of Everest, having summited the mountain 18 times. He holds the non-Sherpa record for the number of ascents and hasn’t shown any signs of stopping.
Kenton didn’t start climbing until his late teens when he picked up a climbing magazine and was instantly transfixed by the photos of climbers on tantalising rock faces. He headed straight to his local climbing wall to learn the basic skills and hasn’t looked back.

Kenton has returned year after year to Nepal, his ‘second home’, to climb Mount Everest and, for a few seconds, be the highest man on Earth standing at 8,848m.
