The Adventurers Drinks Company launches Seas the Day Pacific Ocean Rum

The Adventurers Drinks Company is delighted to launch Seas the Day Pacific Ocean Rum, inspired by Miriam Payne and Jess Rowe who are currently undertaking an 8,000 mile row across the Pacific Ocean. Starting in Peru, South America, they are rowing non-stop and unsupported to Australia.

Seas the Day Pacific Ocean Rum is outstanding dark rum, hand-crafted with rich caramel flavours and fresh fruity notes, reflects its historical origins and the endeavours of Miriam and Jess on their Great Pacific Escapade.

Miriam Payne, from a landlocked area of Yorkshire, hadn't been at sea until she rowed the Atlantic solo in 2022 in record time. With a degree in Physics with Astrophysics, she found she didn't quite have the temperament for academia so has since embarked on a life of adventure. Growing up on the family farm, she thrived in the outdoors. In college she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, sparking her passion for adventurous exploits.

Jess Rowe, from Hampshire, is an adventurer passionate about the outdoors. She’s rowed the Atlantic, hiked England’s South West Coast Path, climbed Mount Kenya, and cycled across Spain. With seven years spent in yachting, she now supports navigation onboard superyachts globally, whilst working in her office based role in Chichester.

Both Miriam and Jess took part in the 2022/23 Worlds Toughest Row, as did the founder of the Adventurers Drinks Company, Phil Kite, who himself has completed two ocean crossings.
