Record breaking Seas the Day Ocean Rowers
On October 18th 2025, Miriam Payne and Jess Rowe completed their record breaking non-stop unsupported 8,213 NM row across the Pacific Ocean from Peru to Australia in 165 days.
Miriam and Jess met during the 2022/23 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, which was also my second Atlantic crossing.
Their Pacific row was an amazing achievement, which can now be celebrated with Seas the Day Pacific Ocean Rum, which has joined our range of drinks. The rum Inspired by Miriam and Jess and the amazing seascape they explored is an outstanding dark rum, hand-crafted with rich caramel flavours and fresh fruity notes. It reflects its historical origins and the endeavours of Miriam and Jess on their Great Pacific Escapade.
