Kenton summits Everest for the 20th time.
On 22nd May 2026 Kenton Cool successfully summited Everest for the 20th time.
Kenton broke his own record for most summits by a non-Sherpa and he did it with his friend Sherpa guide, Dorjee Gyeljen, by his side, who achieved his 25th summit.
This year Kenton and Dorjee summited in the dark, weather conditions being challenging and dictating to an extent when it was best to go for their summit push.
On the way down Kenton took time to catch his breath and talk about Everest Gin, how every bottle contains a drop of melted snow collected from the summit and how proceeds are donated to the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
