Kenton Cool aims for 19th Everest Ascent
Kenton Cool is one of the world’s leading high-altitude climbers and avid adventurers. He is best known for his multiple ascents of Everest, having summited the mountain 18 times. He holds the non-Sherpa record for the number of ascents and hasn’t shown any signs of stopping.
in 2025 he is aiming for his 19th ascent and on the 25th April he has made his way to base camp to wait for a suitable weather window to make his first rotation up the mountain to Camp 2 as part of the acclimatisation process. Once acclimatised, he will return to basecamp and then wait for the right weather window before pushing for his 19th summit.
