Why is Henley Royal Regatta a great place to be this summer?
The great thing about Henley Royal Regatta is the buzz you get from being around so many people passionate about rowing.
You get to watch great racing all along the 1 mile 550 yards course, from the start at Temple Island, to Fawley, past the Remenham Club and finally to the Stewards enclosure and the finish.
You get to see every boat combination, singles and eights, pairs and doubles, fours and quads.
You get to see great crews, Internationals from home and abroad, universities and schools, and the best from clubs across the UK, all who will make memories that will last a life time. The Wargrave race between my club Tyne ARC and Christiania Roklub, NOR on Day 4, 2023, will live long in the the memory.
